Retirement - Work At Home Jobs - Have Peace
Written by Sam Phillips on August 28, 2008 – 11:37 am -Retirement work at home jobs should not only bring you in a great living financially. There should be peace and loving qualities, between husband and wife. ( Yes, I’m old fashion, I still believe in love ) Being on retirees forums I comment and I read. One big issue seems to be between husband and wife after retirement.
Of course, you’re together much more now, but where did common sense go?
Can anyone say after 4o years, you’re getting tired of the foods you love to eat? What about water, tea, or your favorite drink? No, you still go to the fridge, open it, and pour into a glass what ever you enjoy, right?
Ok, treat marriage and retirement work at home jobs the same way. When you worked, you were absent for 8 hours. You’re still employed, only now you work for yourself in a home style atmosphere. You should have your seperate, quiet office space alone, in a different room from everyone else. Your home business.
Plan your daily activities, do them, then enjoy your time together the rest of the day. Go bowling, skating, do things together you both like, golf, fishing, shopping, hunting, whatever. Enjoy helping your mate get the most out of what they love and thrill to do.
Most likely, you’ll really not be together more than you were before, if you’re serious about your business.
I’ve found that retirement, working a home job, can bring you financial independance and freedom that actually can bring a husband and wife into a closer relationship. Try it! You just may enjoy this so much you just wouldn’t have it any other way. Get your free guide now to get started.

Senior Tips For Working A Job While Staying Healthy
Written by Sam Phillips on August 22, 2008 – 2:30 pm -Senior Tips For working a job plus a healthy body goes hand in hand. In this life you only have one physical body. It is important how your job affects your health. Millions of retirement age retirees continue working at some job. They have to! It is not a choice, rather an obligation.
SideNote
If you are looking for work, and can use a computer, I wrote a guide recently, that will give you a golden opportunity in a special field. Yours completely free, no strings attached. Simply claim your free guide here and follow directions. Just fill in name and email address and verify that you want this info. It might just be exactly what you’re looking for.
Whether you work from the comfort of your home or outside. You are the one who can control your health status.
Tip - What you eat can mean the difference between heart attack/stroke or a healthy strong physique. Eating fruits and vegetables, as fresh as possible, daily will help you to stay alert on your job plus give you extra brain power to think more clearly.
It’s absolutely true that what you eat controls your health. Here in America we’re having an epidemic among our obese teens. They are having sickness and disease hit them that was unheard of 50 to 75 years ago. Junk food is the reason and the lack of eating vegetables and fruits. Imagine their body when they retire if they live that long.
(These senior tips for working a job while staying healthy are part of a program I practice personally that keeps me going, feeling years younger instead of my 60 years.)
Tip - Getting your daily exercise, walking and biking being on top of the list. It is a documented fact that senior citizens that exercise about one hour daily, walking, with other forms, are much more alert, their brain thinks much more quickly, their body is greatly resistant to disease, they live much longer. There is so much more.
Please note - All exercise should begin gradual and under the supervision of your health care provider, especially if you’re a senior.
Another senior tip for working a job plus staying healthy is to drink plenty of distilled water. If you possibly can, buy a distiller unit and make your own. You can soon spend lots of money buying water from store.
You need to drink 8 to 12 glasses per day. Start in the morning when you first get up drinking one - two glasses. As you age your desire for water gets less. So, don’t wait until you want it. Get in the habit of drinking a glass every 2 hours.
Instead of the soda pops or concentrated juices you buy from the store, drink distilled water. The reason juices are mentioned is because concentrated forms entered into our bloodstream much too quickly. If you make your own from fresh fruits and vegetables, they are excellent for your health.
One last tip - White sugar is very bad for you. May I tell you a sad but true story? This is why I hate white sugar and know what it’s doing to the young and seniors both in the USA.
My dad and grandma loved sugar. They put that white stuff in about everything they eat. At 54 my dad died of all kinds of complications, brought on by sugar diabetes. My poor grandmother also got it and died. Many of my family since then have gotten diabetes and ” cannot ” live a normal life. All because of that slow poison called white sugar.
You may think I’m over reacting about white sugar. Do a research yourself on what white sugar does to the human body, and it’ll be a good possibility you’ll start eating natural sweets like dates, raisins, apples, bananas, grapefruits, etc.
These senior tips for working a job and staying healthy are only a small portion of what we really need to do. These will get you started on better quality of life however. Always get advice from your health care advisor before making lots of changes in exercise or foods. Great Success to your physical and financial health my fellow retirees.
Retirement Jobs - Have Fun Not Boredom
Written by Sam Phillips on August 19, 2008 – 10:30 pm -Did you know retirement jobs are good for you? It’s true! Many test have proven that people who are bored and unhappy get sick much more often. Mental Institutions are filled with people. Many case histories have shown that large groups of mental illness starts with a dull lifestyle.
In other words:
Many of these people had no goals driving them, there was no lovely music, no exercise, no laughing and having a merry heart, no looking forward to the delightful smile of a little child, no self amusement. (Pardon all the no’s, I hate them too) Do some simple research to prove this a fact.
Retirees working retirement jobs are usually much more healthy. Their brains are sharper, they face life with a more positive attitude. They smile more, have more confidence. They tend to have more fun.
There’s folks that work to retirement then go sit out on the porch all day watching the traffic go by. Day after day. Weeks into months. One day they’re not out there and you find out they unexpectably passed away.
Fellow retirees, we need exercise and to do work even more than the younger generation. We need to do some good old fashion physical work both with our body and our brain. Did you know learning a new language will actually cause your brain IQ to rise? Did you know walking increases the oxygen to the brain, therefore making your brain sharper?
Make a point of having fun around home or shopping.
Don’t ride the powerful mower that cruses like a cadillac and you almost go to sleep it is so comfortable. No, instead use the push mower. Why? You’ll lose weight, you won’t be bored, your body and brain will work better. Do you need more reason? Go shopping, park your vehicle as far away from the stores as possible and walk.
So whether your retirement jobs are at home or abroad find ways to have lots of fun and get plenty of exercise. Ride the bike, carry your groceries, climb the highest hill, run in a handicap marathon. (Only do these things if you’re healthy and with the good judgement and good sense of your health advisor.) Have fun working fellow retiree, you’ve earned it.
